Arkansas Smart Start AmeriCorps tutoring program is accepting applications for volunteer tutors in the SEARK Cooperative area school districts.
2011-2012
-These volunteers must be 17 years of age or older with a high school diploma, highly dependable, hard working, and seeking a career in the education field.  AmeriCorps volunteers will provide tutoring in reading and math for at-risk K-4 students.
-Part Time Members:
Must complete 900 hours of service, will receive a living allowance of and will receive an education award of $2,362.50.  There will be no health insurance available.
