*** Note for students who were not born in the US:

UAM follows Arkansas Department of Health requirements. Every foreign born student (It doesn’t matter whether or not the student is a U.S. citizen, even those born on military bases.) must provide proof of a TB skin test (reported in mm).  The test must have been done within 6 months of enrollment and it must have been done in the US or Canada.  Health departments should always record the results in “mm”;

If the test is positive, there are further protocols that UAM must follow.

Students that are resident aliens must provide a copy of their resident alien card with their application.

Special Note about Statistics:

Statistics courses offered at UAM are degree specific; the AP Statistics course is general in nature. Therefore, area high school students who desire college credit for this course may enroll through another university for this credit.  Students should be aware that the AP Statistics course may only transfer from other higher education institutions as elective credit.

Course Transferability

Arkansas Course Transfer System

(ACTS)

          The Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) contains information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas public colleges and universities. Students are guaranteed the transfer of application credits and the equitable treatment in the application of credits for the admissions and degree requirements.

          Course transferability is not guaranteed for courses listed in ACTS as “No Comparable Course.” Additionally, courses with a “D” frequently do not transfer and institutional policies may vary.

          ACTS may be accessed on the Internet by going to the ADHE website and selecting Course Transfer from the menu at the lefthand side of the page (http://www.adhe.edu).
