Partnering UniversitiesArkansas Department of Higher Education Coordinating Board has a policy on off-campus instruction which relates to AECHS course offerings. A provision in this policy provides a process by which ADHE will resolve conflicts between institutions related to service area, etc. This policy requires AECHS officials to do the following: When a school principal or superintendent tells you that they would like to work with a college or university in the offering of concurrent enrollment courses, ask them if they have been working with another college or university with concurrent courses. If they have, ask the principal or superintendent to first contact the president/chancellor of that institution to inform them of the high school’s plans.It is the desire of AECHS to keep high schools partnered with post-secondary partners in their service area. If you are not aware of your area's institution, please contact Melanie Wedige for the institution that represents your school based on service area. If you do not see your institution listed, please be aware they may partner with AECHS for your high school, and every attempt will be made to accommodate all stakeholders in the best interest of the students, high schools, and post-secondary institutions.
